Web16 dec. 2014 · Single crystals of the 1T-CrTe 2 were obtained through an indirect synthesis and structural, magnetic, thermal and transport properties were measured. 1T-CrTe 2 is metastable, decomposing above 330K and has a transition to a ferromagnetic state just before it, around 310K. WebMn₂O₃ is Hausmannite-like structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pbca space group. There are five inequivalent Mn³⁺ sites. In the first Mn³⁺ site, Mn³⁺ is bonded to six O²⁻ atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and edge-sharing MnO₆ octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles range from 48–61°.
