WebI would like to use patchAverage to obtain the average pressure on an object that consists of multiple patches (due to different boundary conditions), however patchAverage only averages over single patches. As long as the constituent patches aren't shared with other objects, I could simply take the area-weighted average of each patch's average. Webvelocity across the whole outlet patch, but a programmed solution would be more convenient and generalisabletotransientcases. The second problem lies in post-processing. It is useful to be able to extract the values of the depth hand depth-averaged velocity ufrom the VOF results as these are the quantities of interest in 1D hydraulic models.
