The Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal-II, constituted in 2004, gave its final award in 2013. But the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and the subsequent demand by Telangana for re-adjudicating the dispute in its entirety have kept it in abeyance. WebThe Ravi and Beas Waters Tribunal was set up in April 1986 and it is still to give the final award. The minimum a tribunal has taken to settle a dispute is seven years, by the first Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal in 1976.
