WebMarvel doesn't retcon Sins' Past because it's too much work and the effect of such a retcon could bring more attention to a story than it would deserve. Marvel has a practise of sweeping stuff under the rug when it comes to Spider-Man: -- Spider-Man accidentally killing Charlie -- The "Spider-Baby" WebJMS' Spider-Man storyline Sins of the Past is beyond belief it is so bad. I can't believe editorial allowed it to be published. Oh and the 9/11 black cover of Amazing Spider-Man vol 2 #36. I just hate the issue - there is no way in hell something like that would happen in NYC in 616 due to the vast number of beings in the area able to stop it.
